Our claim checklist can help you with the claims process
1. Keep Calm
Don’t panic – stay calm and don’t admit liability.
2. Call 999
If anyone has been injured or you car is obstructing other traffic, call the emergency services straight away.
3. Stay Safe
Ensure that you stand away from the road while waiting for assistance.
4. Exchange Details
Take down the names, addresses and insurance details of other parties involved in the accident.
5. Note Down Everything
Make a note of the make, model and vehicle registration of every vehicle involved.
6. Take Pictures
Take photos and/or videos of the cars, the damage, the people and the scene (or draw a sketch of the scene) – this type of evidence can be very beneficial to your claim.
